The Friends of the University of California Riverside Botanic Gardens 27th Annual
FALL PLANT SALE

Public Sale Saturday, October 17th, 12 noon to 5 pm and Sunday, October 18th, 9 am to 3 pm

THE INLAND AREA'S LARGEST PLANT SALE EVENT!

Nearly 10,000 plants and more than 500 kinds will be available. Trees, shrubs, vines, herbaceous plants, shade plants, water plants, house and patio plants, and wildflower seeds are listed, as are a portion of the landscape-size cacti & succulents. (Wildflower Seed Coupon a $2.00 value.) The key to the codes, found at the end of the descriptions, is below. The number of plants that we expect to have available of each type appears in brackets at the end of the plant description. At the sale, each of the plants will have a detailed information sign and color photo to help you make your selections. U.C. Master Gardeners, expert Gardens Staff and Volunteers will be available to answer your questions. A partial list of plants that will be available can be reached via the links below. This includes just a small portion of the cacti & succulents that will be available and does NOT include herbs, blooming orchids or miniature roses. Also available will be Botanic Gardens full-color t-shirts and our "Hummingbird Garden" and "Subtropical Trees" posters. Don't miss it!

KEY TO THE CODES AT END OF THE PLANT DESCRIPTIONS:

H* - attracts Hummingbirds
B* - attracts Butterflies or feeds butterfly larvae
W* - Water efficient/drought tolerant plants
C* - California native plant or derivative
F* - especially good cut Flower or cut Foliage
S* - fragrant flowers ("S" for Scented)
