History of the UCR Botanic Gardens
Sources
Most of the information on which this history is based is not to be found in published form available in libraries. The sources include:
- oral histories obtained by recording interviews from available retired and current UCRBG personnel;
- the annual reports of UCRBG directors;
- the minutes of the meetings of the Friends;
- the UCRBG Newsletters;
- miscellaneous newspaper and magazine articles;
- relevant correspondence and other documents.
All of this material has been assembled and placed in a file labeled "Archives, UCR Botanic Gardens," stored in the office annex (Computer Room).
